Hey there! 👋🏼
This is the last issue of 2022, and this will be a brief one!
2022 was an incredible year where I drastically increased the number of newsletters I produced.
I started the year focusing on a monthly newsletter and moved to a weekly format in July. The increase translates from an expected 12 issues to 31 issues delivered throughout the year.
If you follow me on social media, you might have noticed that I stopped posting almost entirely for the past 6-8 weeks. The reason is simple. My work got extremely intense, requiring a crazy amount of energy, time and focus.
During this time, I had to choose between my mental sanity and the amount of content I was producing. I decided on my mental sanity.
Independent of the amount of work I had, I decided to keep writing the newsletter as it has been an enriching experience.
It helps me look at my reality from a fresh perspective, helps me improve my writing skills and think about leadership differently.
As I mentioned in the issue about mental health, you need to know yourself and be able to take action when you feel something might go wrong.
This was mine. I felt that if I didn't stop something, I was heading towards burnout. I'm happy I was able to identify and make this decision.
Writing about leadership is about more than just giving advice, showcasing best practices and how good we are. I believe that honesty is the best option. Show not only your victories but also your failures and your weaknesses.
2022 has been an incredible ride, and writing this newsletter has been an amazing experience. The expectations for 2023 and this newsletter are up there through the roof.
A Leader's Mindset will come back in 2023 after a couple of weeks of recharging, new ideas and topics.
Have an incredible holiday season.
Stop and reflect on your year.
We'll restart stronger in 2023.
See you then!
If you're not finding value in this newsletter, please consider unsubscribing. There are no hard feelings, and I appreciate your part in my journey. Perhaps in the future, we'll meet again!
If you are enjoying the newsletter, the best compliment you can make is to share it with one person.
Thank you for being part of my journey!
Have an incredible week! 💪🏼
