Hey there 👋🏼
I don’t know if you’ve noticed but another year is coming to an end.
To some people this doesn’t make a difference but to a lot of us, a new year is attached to a series of rituals and reboots. A chance to achieve it all again. A chance to start over.
I’m sure that you, at some point in your life, have set New Year Resolutions. Between you and me, have these resolutions ever worked for you?
Personally I tie New Year Resolutions as wishes we all have as we start a new journey, a new venture.
And wishes are just that… Wishes… As Antoine de Saint-Exupéry says:
A goal without a plan is just a wish.
The focus of this month’s newsletter is to give you all of the tools you need to turn these wishes into a game plan, into a well though-out strategy, so you can methodically and aggressively move towards your goals.
I’m going through this process as well.
Being this the last month of the year, it’s our last chance to prepare the New Year before it arrives.
Be critical when looking at all your successes from 2021. But remember to celebrate all your achievements. As for your failures, look at them as a chance to learn, to improve and if they make sense, carry them over to the new year and try again.
Don’t forget that the fact that you didn’t achieve your ultimate goal doesn’t mean that you didn’t make any progress. Understand what progress you made and learn from it.
The faster you do this exercise, the quicker you can jumpstart 2022. The quicker you can warm up to the race. The quicker you’ll be ready.
We’re on the last stretch. Focus on the finish line and don’t hold back!
Have an incredible and productive December.
Until next month 😉
💪 Get ready for 2022.
Let me start by saying that all I can share are methods and tools that will allow you to make better planning and decisions. It’s up to you to define your goals, work hard and reach them.
Now that expectations are set let me say that this past month, while I was getting this newsletter ready I also went through all the steps I describe.
From doing an honest retrospective of 2021, celebrating my successes as well as my failures, the most important thing to me is continue in the pursue of a better and more effective year.
This guide focuses on giving you the foundations to start 2022 prepared:
🔍 How far have you evolved?
📝 Who’s going into 2023?
⚖️ Calibrate those goals
♻️ Measure, revisit & adjust

📚 What I’ve been reading
Initially recommended by Ali Abdaal, in his “3 Books that Changed my Life”, “Show your Work” is a quick to read book that forced me to reassess how I committed to learning new topics and how I committed to my goals.
You do it by sharing your journey, what you are learning, what’s your process, what works and what doesn’t. You share where you are, your successes and your failures.
In a 7 billion people world, there are always a few that will connect with what you’re learning and how you’re feeling.
The idea is share so you find them, so they find you. You can start to build an audience that in time can become a community.
Reserve a couple of hours and give this book a chance. It will help you getting focused and motivated for the year that’s arriving.

📣 Top quote of the month
When performance is measured, performance improves. When performance is measured and reported back, the rate of improvement accelerates.
